Requirements

You need a current/valid Operator license in Cosmetology
from the State of Virginia.

Commit to a 1 year lease (lease can be renewed subsequently
in 6 month increments).

You’ll need to carry Liability Insurance ($1M costs about
$12 a month).

Maintain your own business records--taxes & bookkeeping.

Schedule your own appointments.

Provide your own tools (i.e. scissors, appliances, capes,
smocks, and other preferred items necessary to your
business).

Must adhere to all of the rules/regulations put in place by
the VA State Board of Cosmetology

Use of salon’s phone system including voice mail extention.
